The second single and final single to go #1 on Billboard charts, (to date) was "The Promise of a New Day."

The background footage for the music video was shot in Hawaii. (Paula was unable to go because of her hectic schedule.)

Scenes with Paula were filmed on an indoor sound stage and were later edited into the background.

The video was produced by BIGTV!

Paula recalls spending an entire day in a pool of freezing cold water and she said she caught a cold shortly after the video shoot wrapped up.
