Much to the surprise of Paula Abdul's fans, her "Greatest Hits" album hit record stores nationwide on September 26, 2000 after three years of eager anticipation.
This marks Paula Abdul's 6th album release (this is her second Greatest Hits release).
Promotion for the album was primarily done on television through 30 second commercials.
Virgin Records even threw together a web site showcasing many of Paula's successful music videos.
The LP also includes the track "Bend Time Back Around" which appeared on the Beverly Hills 90210 Soundtrack originally released in 1992.
"If I Were Your Girl" and "Crazy Love", both tracks from Paula's last full-length album "Head Over Heels" were also included.
The 'hits' album also contains a brand new "Megamix" medley track which features Paula's greatest hits mixed into a dance track paying homage to Paula's "1990 Mix" on her "Shut Up And Dance" album.
