Pop star Paula Abdul was at Walt Disney World last week sharing moves with scores of kids competing in the nationally televised Co. Dance National Championships.
``This is really my grass roots - this is what I love to do,'' Abdul said.
Friday of the dance organization she founded. ``I've always felt like a born teacher, and this is a way to help nurture young people and their dreams and give them one-on-one attention.''
No one is happier than Abdul that dance fever is again gripping the nation.
``What's so cool is that people want to celebrate life again and to have fun,'' said Abdul, whose next as-yet-untitled album is due out the first of the year.
``It's a real fun, in-your-face dance record,'' Abdul said. ``There's a couple of ballads, but it's mostly dance.''
